Plant-Based Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2017:

My first Thanksgiving living in California + being vegan!

46 million turkeys are eaten each Thanksgiving- I am proud to say I do not contribute to that number. This was my first year in 21 years that I had a cruelty-free holiday! This year was also my first Thanksgiving living in California and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

I started my Thanksgiving day with a 20 minute meditation followed by a journaling session and wrote a list of things I am grateful for. Writing with pen and paper  everyday expressing my gratitude has absolutely changed my life. I then made some Matcha and started my day! 

My mom, boyfriend, and I made pumpkin chocolate chip banana bread (my speciality), green bean casserole, cauliflower stuffing, and collard greens with mushrooms!

Ended the day with a relaxing walk on the beach and a breathtaking sunset.

I love you, California!
